Lesson on editing the slides for the waterports powerpoint
Group Forming
I think that our group members always give tips on how to improve on a slide.
Personality Profile
WeiSuen - I was glad that I was not the one doing the Powerpoint.
JiaMin - I was glad that I just need to assist the leader, encourager and recorder.
Brandon - I would like to learn more in quadratic problem solving as I am weak in that topic.
Indra - I feel that PW help connect us.
Introduction to Project themes
We will try to make the project Powerpoint more interesting for the audience.
Copyright & Internet Etiquette
We must not say or do things that will hurt other people.
Do's & Don'ts of good Powerpoint
We must try to have bulleted phrases as it will use less words and it prevents us from reading a bunch of sentences directly from the screen. All the group members also must have a copy of the done Powerpoint, and be prepared for the Powerpoint, in case one of them was not there.
We must not read directly from the slides and we must not have any spelling or grammatical errors in the slides, so we must check through the slides about twice.
Ups and Downs
Ups - I am happy that this is the last blog post that I will be doing for the PW homework.
Downs - I did not really enjoy the previous PW lesson as I think that it is very boring. But we should have something new, that only a few of us know, so that we will not feel bored during the lessons.

Lesson on finding pictures and doing research for watersports powerpoint
Group Forming
Our group members tried to help each other out or asked other friends even though they did not know what to do.
Personality Profile
WeiSuen - I feel that there are alot of things to be done for our PW project and we must also follow the format of the Powerpoint.
JiaMin - It was so difficult to create a Powerpoint on water sports for project work.
Brandon - I would like to learn more on chemistry in science as I have an interest in the subject.
Indra - I feel that everybody in the group did a great job!

We will be following the format that Mr Ho told us for the water sports Powerpoint.
Copyright & Internet Etiquette
We must not send virus to others' computer as it is not a right thing to do.
Do's & Don'ts of good Powerpoint
We must let our audience's have a time which they can ask us questions so that they can clear their doubts and we must not think too long when answering the questions.
We must not have too much text in a slide and we must not be in-confidence in our speech, so we must practice learning talking fluently before the presentation.
Ups and Downs
Ups - Doing the Powerpoint presentation helps us to enhance our teamwork and friendship.
Downs - I don't like to write these blog posts as it is very boring.

Lesson on doing a powerpoint on watersports
Group Forming
All the group members were not lazy and they did the work they are tasked to do.
Personality Profile
WeiSuen - I did not know that we cannot take other people's work whenever we want. But, after the previous PW lesson, where Mr Ho taught us about copyright and that we might be fined if we took others work, I then realise how important copyright was.
JiaMin - I did not know that copyright was so important. We could be fined up to $100 000 if we copied other people's work!
Brandon - Being an encourager can enlighten their mood and not feel stressed when they are unable to solve the problems.
Indra - I like PW lessons because I like to use the computer inside an air-conditioned room.
Introduction to Project themes
We will find information and pictures about water sports safety.
Copyright & Internet Etiquette
I think that copyright is very important as it is quite unfair to those people who first did an original work and others copy it. And, if a person copy one's work, they could be fine up to S$100 000.
Do's & Don'ts of good Powerpoint
We must put the website, that we took the information from, in the Powerpoint as some of the website may be copyrighted, and we must choose a suitable background for each of the slides, so that everybody is able to see the words clearly.
We must not always look at the screen or paper, but we must maintain eye contact with our audience, and we must not always use the same colour for the texts if not other people will think that the presentation is very boring.

Ups - I am glad that we chose the theme, water sports for the project.
Downs - But I can't think of any questions related to water sports.

Lesson on how to create a powerpoint on watersports
Group Forming
All the group members are helping each other when they need help.
Personality Profile
WeiSuen - I learnt about many new things during all the previous PW lessons.
JiaMin - I learnt how to download IMBooster, in order to get all the wonderful emoticons, bigemos, video winks and mood avatars.
Brandon - Being an encourager can help to encourage our teammates when they need help and also tell them not to feel down when they do not have any ideas for any of our assignments that were assigned to us.
Indra - I feel that we don't have time for PW homework.

Our Project theme is 'water sport safety'
Copyright & Internet Etiquette
We must be polite to one another even when chatting with each other on the internet.
Do's & Don'ts of good Powerpoint
We must go straight to the point of the Powerpoint and not talk about other irrelevant things, and we must do a simple Powerpoint so that other people can understand more easily.
We must not use too much slides for the presentation as other people will think that it is very boring, and we must not talk too softly during the presentation as other people might not be able to hear clearly, what we are talking about.

Ups - I am happy with the lesson today as I learnt how to use the dmss learning portal.
Downs - But I had a hard time figuring out how to use it.

I think the copyright powerpoint is very useful and it prevents others from taking their work for free.
Do's & Don'ts of good Powerpoint
We can put up some pictures to make the Powerpoint more interesting, and also make the words bigger to allow others to see more clearly.
Do not write vulgarities in the Powerpoint, do not copy and paste all the information into the Powerpoint.
Ups and Downs
Ups - I know how to create a blogger by my own after Mr Ho taught us.
Downs - But creating a blogger for the first time takes up most my time.
